Changing the Template Used for Your Website

At any time, you can update your website to use a different template.
To begin, log in to the website editor, and click on the "Site Options" button in the left panel of the editor (see left for example).
The Site Builder menu will then come up. |

1. Layout Category.
To start, choose a category from the “Layout Category” dropdown box to see a list of templates in that category. Every time you choose a different category the list of template images will be updated in the “Layout Template” section.
2. Layout Template.
Move the slider at the right to see all of the templates available in this category. If you do not see the template you want in the selected category, you can return to step #1 and select another category to browse the templates in that category. When you see the template that you want, click on it to select it.
When the pages are positioned as you want them, click the OK button to save the changes to your website.
TIP: You can click the Preview button to see a full size demo of the selected template.
Once you have selected the template that you want, click the OK button to update your website. |

You will receive a message (see below) saying "The files for the template will now be uploaded to your web site. Please note that this may take a few minutes and you should not close your web browser or navigate away from this page. Click OK to continue."
Click the OK button to confirm the change. When the upates are complete, you will receive a message (see below) saying "Your site options have been updated successfully. You will now be logged out to refresh the changes made to your site."
Click OK to complete the logout. You will then see a login screen, where you can log back in to your account if you have additional changes to make to your site.
NOTE: When you first log back in to your account after changing the template, your site may look strange as files from the previous template may still be saved in your browser cache. Click on the Refresh button on your browser to clear the old files and reload the page with the current website files. |
