Inserting an Image into Your Web Page
You may wish to insert one or more images into your web page; for example some people include the logos of the companies they have worked for, or images representing samples of their work.
Images used on a web page must be in GIF (file extension .gif) or JPEG (file extension .jpg or.jpeg) format.
To insert an image into your page, first log in to your account and select the page that you would like to modify, and ensure that you are in Edit mode. Position your mouse cursor in the page at the point you would like to insert the image, and click on the Insert/Modify Image button on the Editor Toolbar. The Image Manager window will pop up (see below).

1. Locate the image on your computer:
Click on the "Browse" button and navigate to the location of the image on your computer. Click on the file and select "Open". The file name will then appear in the box to the left of the "Browse" button.
2. Upload the image to your website:
Click on the "Go" button to upload the image file to your website. The file will then be uploaded, and you will see a message when the upload is completed.

3. Select the uploaded image:
A small thumbnail preview of the image will be shown in the Image Manager box. If you have previously uploaded other images, they will also be shown here. Select the appropriate image by clicking on it.
4. Review the preview:
A larger version of the image will be shown in the box as in the above example. Check to be sure you have selected the correct image. If not, select another image.
5. Enter an image description:
"Alt text" is the text that appears when someone hovers over an image, or while the image is loading. Enter a brief description of the image. e.g. if you are inserting the logo for Company A, you can call it "Company A".
6. Select alignment:
This is optional. If not selected, the default alignment will be applied. Most commonly used alignments are "Left" (aligns the image to the left of the text at the insertion point, and "Right" (aligns the image to the right of the text at the insertion point.
7. Insert image:
Click on the "Insert Image" button to insert the image into your page.
