Web Site Access

The Resumes 24/7 web site is hosted in a data center with stringent monitoring policies in place should there be a server failure. Resumes 24/7 shall not be held liable in the event that server failure or any other internet channel failure should limit your access to resumes-247.com - see Limitation of Liability below.

Purchase of a Resumes 24/7 Web Hosting Package

Fees paid for a web hosting package entitles the payee to the service as described for the package purchased. All registrations are validated against the purchase records. Any attempt to register and enter account information into the Resumes 24/7 web site, without having a valid proof of payment for services through PayPal, will be deleted. No account will be set up without a valid purchase notification from PayPal. Should payment be made by e-check, the account will not be created until the check has cleared.

Account Policies and Cancellation

The initial deposit payment includes registration of one domain name, setup of Resumes 24/7 account, and first month of website hosting. Subsequent monthly payments are due monthly in advance. Payments will be processed automatically by PayPal, following the instructions in your initial payment. You may cancel your Resumes 24/7 account at any time, by notifying us via email, or by cancelling the automatic payment through your PayPal account. Although no advance notice is required, and there is no cancellation fee, all fees paid for service up to the notice of cancellation are non-refundable. At the end of the last paid period, your account will be de-activated, and your resume website removed from the Resumes 24/7 server. If PayPal is unable to process your payment, your account will be suspended until such time as payment is received. If payment is not received for 2 months in a row, your account will be cancelled without further notice.

The use of the Resumes 24/7 service is for resume and career profiles only. All websites hosted by Resumes 24/7 are subject to review, and should we find the content of your website to contain information for any other purpose, your account will be cancelled without further notice. By inputting, uploading, providing or submitting your Materials for your website, you warrant and represent that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your Materials including, without limitation, all the rights necessary for you to input, upload, provide, or submit the Materials.

Ownership to Web Pages and Graphics

Copyright to the web templates used to create the Resumes 24/7 customer website is owned by Resumes 24/7. Non-exclusive rights to the use of the templates is granted to the customer for the term of payment for the service. Upon cancellation of the service, all rights are revoked from the customer, and the customer must discontinue use of any and all Resumes 24/7 website templates. The site may not be downloaded from the Resumes 24/7 server and hosted on another server.

Domain Name Registration

Domain names are registered on a world-wide basis, and the domain name you have requested is subject to availablility. Should your first choice of domain name be unavailable, you will be notified, and alternative names will be suggested for your approval. Domain names are registered for a term of 1 year. If you continue your Resume Hosting Package service beyond 1 year, your domain name will continue to be renewed for as long as you remain a customer. If you cancel your Resume Hosting Package, you may transfer your domain name to another registrar to retain ownership.

Commercial Advertising - Email

Spamming, or the sending of unsolicited email, from the server or using an email address or domain that is maintained by Resumes 24/7 as reference is STRICTLY prohibited. Resumes 24/7 will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.

Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or suspend service at our sole discretion.

Indemnification and Governance

All customers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Resumes 24/7 from any and all losses, expenses, liabilities, claims, attorney’s fees, damages, awards, judgments, or actions that may arise from the use of this service other than as expressly authorized by the terms of this policy. Resumes 24/7 makes no warranties, expressly or implied, for this service. This service is offered on an “as is” basis, and customers waive all claims as noted above that may arise from the inability to use this service as provided. The recourse available to customers should customers become dissatisfied with this service, the terms of this service, or any policy, practice, or guideline as set by Resumes 24/7 will be limited to discontinuation of service as denoted in the Account Policies and Cancellation item above. This agreement is governed by the laws of the province of Ontario and Canada. Customers agree that all services provided by Resumes 24/7 are deemed to have been requested in and provided in Ontario, and that jurisdiction for any and all claims or disputes shall reside there.
